Hello Fam:revolving_hearts: It's another week ladies and another hair journal. Funny enough, last week, i didn't do much to my hair (sticking to my hair regimen) - just soaked my hair only 2 or 3 times last week. But last night i was much surprised with hair results after i deep conditioned my hair (Monday night) with: 1 - Avocado 2 - Eggs (they were very small) 2 tsp - Honey 1 tsp - Coconut Oil 1 tsp - Castor oil Oh! Talking of "Castor Oil", i finally found a bottle of in one of the supermarkets here. Kume Ozoro, i was dancing "skelewa" (hope that was spelled right)...lol  . I do feel much pleased with my hair today. I rinsed the deep conditioner out with water only and then applied my shampoo which i mixed with Guava water. Rinsed that out too, and that's it! I patted it half dry, applied a mixture of coconut oil and castor oil, my mixed sheabutter, coconut oil & Fresh Aloe Vera gel, and my new favorite "olive oil moisturizer". I bought the "olive oil moisturizer" about two months ago. Didn't really pay attention to what it could do until last week when i wasn't getting my hair soaking wet that much. Think i spritzed once or twice and then applied it. And to my surprise, when i was taking down my cornrows last night, my hair which hadn't been much moisturized didn't feel as hard as it used to. Just to mention, am yet to find the right conditioner for my hair since i went natural, the only things i come across are 2in1 (Shampoo & conditioner), so i don't condition my hair after shampoo...crazy...right? See you next week Queens & King...lol:smile: Bye all :kiss:

Fatou Bom Bittaye i'm glad you've found a moisturizer product that works for you. It definitely speeds up the moisturizing practice; especially on those days when you're in an unplanned hurry. You still wanna keep water in the mix though. I think nothing beats that level of natural - water. And :smi...View More

Thanks. Lolz...right, "Skelewu". Kume Ozoro it was really a suprise how moisturizing it was and i will never give up the natural water, it's the base of all things. I will still continue with my moisturizing routine. The "olive oil moisturizer" just adds up to it.

Why not use the deep conditioner after washing with shampoo.
